The Promise Academy of Music at Westminster exists to provide everyone with the chance to make, hear, and appreciate music and to belong. All proceeds from our musicals will go directly to impact the lives of children throughout the Cedar Valley who take private lessons or attend a camp at the Promise Academy of Music at Westminster. We want to extend these music making opportunities and the sense of belonging to a larger age range and the greater area through our production giving everyone a place to belong, to perform, and to be loved- no matter the color of your skin, your gender, your identity; here you are loved. The cast will be home to a large variety of people from the Cedar Valley both who attend Westminster and those who do not. By having the community come together we can create something truly amazing with the gifts and talents we have been given. One of the goals of this program is to offer theatrical productions which are family friendly and have a life connection or meaning to them, a deeper substance provoking the audience members to think about what they just experienced rather than just offering a form of entertainment.
