Rev. Ken Locke

Ken Locke was born in Hong Kong and largely raised in Texas and Arkansas. In his time, he has been a soldier, freight agent, factory worker, and short-order cook. He held two long-term installed pastorates before becoming a Professional Interim/Transitional Pastor. Westminster is his sixth Interim congregation. Ken holds degrees in English from Ouachita Baptist University (BA) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (MA). He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. For over thirty years Ken has been married to Elizabeth Lindsey, who remains in their home in Indianapolis. They are caretakers for an aging Chihuahua, Molly, affectionately known as The Wee One, and look forward to adding a basset hound to the family this summer. In his spare time Ken enjoys reading, cooking while listening to podcasts, rowing on his rowing machine, and traveling. His latest trip was to Israel in February of 2020. He will be glad when the pandemic lifts and he can move about more easily.
